K Jacques
K.Jacques is the story of a place, a family and a product that started in 1933.
At the time, Jacques Keklikian, an Armenian refugee living in Saint Tropez, opened a workshop to create tailor-made sandals inspired by the already iconic Tropezian sandal. A talented craftsman, he creates simple models combining elegance and quality. His secret? He draws the feet of his friends and clients on cardboard and, in the evening, he cuts the sole from the leather, the starting point for making the Tropezian sandal already popular locally. As one gives a first and a last name to one's child, Jacques gave his own to his creation by simplifying it in order to be able to be remembered by his customers: thus is born, K.JACQUES.
French painters, actresses and filmmakers choose this sandal to walk around their beloved Saint Tropez. We will see the shoe at the feet of legends like Picasso, Bardot, Colette ...
Three generations later, it is still in the family that we work on memory, know-how, the catalog expanded with the same respect for tradition and even more success. We can no longer count those who swear by these perfect sandals. Unparalleled fashion credibility and global notoriety, K.Jacques is today a staple in our summer wardrobe and an emblem of French know-how.
