Tokyo-Ga is a documentary made by Wim Wenders about the hectic life in Tokyo and the famous Japanese director Yasujiro Ozu.
In the documentary, we discover Ozu's tomb with the only character engraved "Mu". This term comes from Zen Buddhism and can be translated as constant nothingness, impermanence, emptiness. It does not have the negative Western connotation of absence, disappearance, nihilism, but rather the Far Eastern meaning, which is the idea of being one with the universe, of melting into what surrounds us.
The void can take on any form: infinite possibilities and infinite expansion.
That's where Mirko Buffini's perfume brand was born in 2013, inviting us on a journey.
In 2015, the perfume "Mu" won the "Fragrance of the Year" award in Japan.
