Wide Jeans
Wide-leg jeans, also known as ‘flare jeans’ or ‘flared jeans’, first appeared in the 1960s and 1970s as a counter-culture to the fashion of the time, when trousers were tight. They became popular thanks to the disco and hippie movements, which displayed a relaxed, unconventional style.
The world of fashion is cyclical, as we all know, and the return of baggy jeans confirms this. The emblematic trousers of the 70s are making a comeback, both on the catwalk and in the street.
